The present study titled “Influence of mothers' beliefs in compliance with vaccination of children of 0-4 years. Las Palmas Town Center. May to July. 2013 "presented by the bachelors in nursing: David Castillo Rafael and Melita Del Pilar Saavedra Rengifo, aimed: to determine the influence of mothers' beliefs in compliance with the vaccination of their children. The multimethod study was descriptive correlational, cross-sectional, prospective, non- experimental, correlational design and the sample consisted of 72 mothers with children 0-4 years of age was used. For the measurement of the variable: Belief, the survey method was used, the data collection instrument was the structured interview for the variable: Vaccination schedule, a form will be used as a record. The main results are obtained that 23.6 % (17 ) of mothers believe it is better to give paracetamol before getting sick , 20.8 % (15 ) of mothers believe bring them several vaccines at once gives them frightening, 20.8 % (15 ) of mothers believe that if they get sick like many vaccines , these being the most common beliefs. 55.6 % (40) of mothers do not meet vaccination of their children. 11 mothers did not meet the vaccination and believe it is better to give paracetamol before getting sick 9 mothers met and believe that the little ones are too weak to get shots and 7 mothers met and believe that was also obtained like many vaccines if they get sick. Concluding that mothers' beliefs significantly influence the performance of vaccination of their children, with a degree of probability of P = 0.024, that is why, to high retail compliance beliefs is vaccination. Being the most common belief, "it is better to give paracetamol before getting sick," with 23.6 %. 55.6 % (40) of mothers did not meet the vaccination of their children.
