This thesis project named: "Determination of the nitrates and phosphates concentration in the population behavior of fecal coliforms in the sewage of the Calzada urban district - 2013 ", has the following objectives: Quantify the nitrates, phosphates and fecal coliforms concentration in the Calzada urban waste water, determine the relationship between the concentration of phosphates and nitrates, and population behavior of fecal coliforms in the Calzada urban waste water. The tributary qualitatively characterization in the lagoon has a greenish gray coloration by the presence of organic matter and bluish color by detergents. - The average temperature in the tributaries is 22.43 °C and in effluent is 23.05 °C. - The average obtained from pH in the tributary is 5.61 which is acidic water and in the wetland effluent is 6.98 which is neutral water. - The phosphates average concentration in the tributary is 7.18 mg/L in the effluent and 2.01 mg/L. - The nitrates average concentration in the tributary is 16.62mg/L in the effluent and 8.23 mg/L. - The fecal coliforms average concentration in the tributary is 20,448.28 CFU/ 100ml and in the effluent 8,025.81 CFU/ 100ml. The correlation coefficients of phosphates in relation to the behavior of fecal coliforms in the Tributary are 0,609 and in the effluent are 0.551 was rejected the null hypothesis and accept the alternative hypothesis. The correlation coefficients of nitrates in relation to the behavior of fecal coliforms in the Tributary are 0,512 and in the effluent are 0.519was rejected the null hypothesis and accept the alternative hypothesis.
