This research is a quantitative, descriptive simple, whose overall objective was to determine the psychosocial factors predisposing teen pregnancy treated in Hospital MINSA Moyobamba II-1 March 2013 - May 2013. Our population consisted of 32 pregnant adolescents recorded during the months of March to May 2013 in that hospital, which were surveyed. The instrument of this study is divided into 2 parts: the first part assesses the psychological factor with dimensions: self-esteem, decision-making and misdirected sexuality. In the second part evaluates the social factor with its dimensions: family environment and school level. As results were obtained between psychosocial factors predisposing teen pregnancy more relevant as misguided sexuality, and that 96.9% of pregnant teenagers had inappropriate sexual behavior, 93.8% of pregnant teenagers had a poor communication with their parents and 62.5% of pregnant adolescents start sexual life between the ages of 14-15 years. Another relevant factor have inadequate family environment, in 56.3% of adolescents whose parents are separated / divorced, and 25% of adolescents have single parents, this shows that the unstable marital status of parents directly affects the teenager. In conclusion misguided sexuality and inadequate familiarity are the predisposing factors of teenage pregnancy. Keywords: psychosocial factors predisposing teen pregnancy.
