At present, the disability of a senior member includes an alarming rate of the Peruvian population, as well as the world population, which increases year after year. That is why since years ago and through research seeks to reduce this worrying percentage, so to address this problem have developed types of prostheses: aesthetic prostheses (where your interest is physical appearance), passive functional prostheses (mechanical, that perform movements with a specific grasp) and active functional prostheses (that use external energy, are mechatronic and are controlled by myoelectric signals). The latter is controlled by the muscle and have a lower rate of rejection by the user, but despite these advantages they have, the great disadvantage is the high costs of these prostheses, since they are almost unattainable for many of the users. For all the disadvantages mentioned above, is that there is an urgent need to carry out this research that develops the design of a biomedical prosthesis of the upper limb, which will be controlled by the user by means of its muscles, allowing to make basic grabs, the advantage of This prosthesis is that it is constructed with accessible materials of low cost and is visibly aesthetic.
