This research work gathers scientific information on the reuse of flexible pavements for the construction of new economic pavements. Flexible pavement recycling is an economical solution alternative by applying engineering and reducing environmental impact, allowing materials (especially from the rolling folder, to be reused in the field. Currently, there are many methods of recycling flexible pavements, these are described in hot and cold. The procedure involves removing the rolling folder, which can be extracted with a milling machine to rescue asphalt cement and aggregates and thus remix them with or without the addition of emulsions or other binding materials, in order to build new paving. In the case of cold recycling, the material is crushed and mixed with stabilizing additives such as cement or asphalt emulsion. For hot recycling, asphalt cement is added. In recent years the technique of foamed asphalt has been implemented which consists of removing aged pavement, and mixing it with cement and water, in order to produce volumetric variations, resulting in a viscous and understandable material, which after spreading and compacting obtains great resistance to load requests. In general, the application of recycled pavements is sustainable, as in all cases investigated, it has performed well structural performance, in addition to reducing the environmental impact (by consuming little virgin granular material and reducing CO emissions) and are economical enough
