ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of the aggregates of the Mashcón and Chonta quarries for obtaining elasticity and rupture modules in the design of rigid pavements. In the present research work, laboratory tests were carried out to determine the physical properties of the aggregates, with these results the dosage of the mixture was determined applying the ACI method 211, based on two rupture modules 42 kg / cm 2 and 45 kg / cm for each quarry, since these values are the most used in the design of rigid pavements in urban areas, then we proceeded to the elaboration of 48 cylindrical specimens to be tested to compression, with which we determine the modulus of elasticity; And 48 prismatic specimens for determination of the modulus of rupture. The concrete rupture modulus was obtained on the basis of the flexión in beams of section 15x15 cm and a light of 45 cm, by the application of loads in the middle thirds of the beam. With a compressive strength of 265 kg / cm 2 rupture modules of 42.80 kg / cm were obtained for the quarry of the Chonta river and 42.71 kg / cm for the Mashcón river quarry and for a compression strength of 304 kg / cm 2 2 2 modules were obtained Of rupture of 45.88 kg / cm for the quarry of the Chonta River and 45.53 kg / cm 2 for the quarry Mashcón River. The modulus of elasticity of the concrete was obtained on the basis of cylindrical specimens. For a compressive strength of 265 kg / cm 2 , modulus of elasticity of 245 337 kg / cm was obtained for the quarry of the Chonta River and 239 684 kg / cm for the quarry Mashcón river; And with a compressive strength of 304 kg / cm 2 2 , elastic moduli of 270 868 kg / cm were obtained for the quarry of the Chonta River and 262 247 kg / cm for the Mashcón river quarry. 2 2 2 2 2
