ABSTRACT Currently the Last Planner System has been implemented in several companies around the world due to its high impact on results. The construction companies’ work in a sector where the main feature is the enormous variability of its parameters, the Last Planner System has as main objective to manage the reduction of this variability. In recent years in Peru, there are companies such as Edifica, VyV Bravo that have managed to successfully implement the Last Planner System, basically in building works. In the Peruvian market there is a large infrastructure gap in all types of projects (according to national infrastructure plan 2016 - 2025), which indicates that the construction sector must become one of the main engines of the Peruvian economy. Many of the companies that participate in the infrastructure projects, especially with the state, fail to execute and comply with the dates agreed with the entities. According to the contracts, this produces diverse results, resulting in a huge economic loss in their income, which hurts its liquidity and its usefulness. This Thesis applies the Last Planner System in irrigation works with the state where the executing company has as main problem the timely delivery of their works so we define that when applying the Last Planner System management system in the programming, control in public works of irrigation is achieved to reduce the execution deadlines. With the results obtained in the evaluation of the application we realize that the Thesis manages to validate the main problem of getting to improve these deadlines, during the execution of the work.
