The present work had as objective to determine the impact of the redesign of the permeate solution pumping system in the flows towards the Buffer Pond in the RO plant of Pampa Larga, the investigation was of the descriptive type for which historical data of the flows were taken To analyze averages and deviations. It was determined that the permeate flows sent to Buffer Pond were on average 670 m 3 /h, with that installed capacity that cannot be pumped, which RO plants can produce (1 000 m 3 /h, 500 m 3 /h per Each treatment plant RO). It could be determined that the problem is that one of the pipes was inoperative and that the current systems do not have a pipe that can transport the required flow and the motors do not have enough power. After the redesign of the permeate pumping system of the RO Pampa Larga plant, it was possible to define the changes that need to be made to achieve a flow above 1 000 m 3 /h; These would be the increase of the power of 175 to 250 HP, increase of the pipe of 8 to 14 "with an investment of 110 640 USD. The financial indicators for the proposal indicate that it is beneficial to realize the investment of 110 640 USD, because we have a positive NPV of 9 656 USD, a TIR of 14% and the return period would be less than 7 months.
