In the thesis, the level of competitiveness of artisanal textile sector met in Cajamarca the town center Porcón Alto, to identify what are the main difficulties in the sector's competitiveness, to improve and innovate production while marketing the handmade textile product and thus have an export potential in that population center. Apparel and production in the textile sector in Peru has shown tremendous growth in recent years and its growth in the international market has been based on competitive advantages among which can be named the quality and prestige of Peruvian fibers and the high level of integration of the sector throughout the production process. As a result of the surveys artisans of the town center Porcón Alto, shows that there is great difficulty in knowledge of the textile product, sales, marketing, quality is a totally low and is not sufficient to generate a level of competitiveness to which approach to national and international markets. You can consider that the best way to solve the problems encountered is necessary to design competitive strategies for the development of partnerships which are textile artisans, starting with the production of textile quality partnerships between institutions to improve the economy, taking into account the workshops or talks about different regulations about the product textiles to the same family and artisans in the village of Porcón Alto center in the province of Cajamarca, to improve development in the domestic market and international. Finally, from this research concludes that improving factors related to competitiveness, in this case the enterprise, national and international factor helps the growth of artisanal textile sector therefore have a continuous demand from the population center Porcón Alto, and scale to the domestic market position would be achieved in an international market with a quality product.
