The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between coping and spirituality in a sample of 34 men between 25 and 60 years old from Alcoholics Anonymous. It was administrated the Coping Inventory (COPE) developed by Carver et al. (1989) and the Spirituality Questionnaire developed by Parsian and Dunning (2009). Significant direct correlations were found between some of the coping strategies and the four dimensions of spirituality. Similarly, there was found a greater presence of positive reinterpretation strategy and spiritual beliefs. It was also found that the time of withdrawal, the residence time in AA and the accompaniment seemed to influence some of the scales.
