This research work responds to the current need to deepen the knowledge of the happiness of employees; aspect that gives companies labor competitiveness (Fernández, Montes, & Vazquez, 1998, Paz y Espinoza, 2017, Price Waterhouse Copper [PWC], 2017). Multiple investigations have concluded that happy workers are more productive, selfeffective, manage their work better and relate positively to others (Kjerulf, 2008, Lama & Cutler, 2009, Lyubomirsky et al., 2005). Thus, as a general objective the research aims to describe the level of happiness of the workers of a consulting company in Metropolitan Lima. The instrument used was the Lima Happiness Scale, developed by Alarcón (2006) and validated by several studies, presenting promising psychometric properties (Álvarez, 2012, Arias et al., 2016, Rodríguez, 2010). The methodology of the research corresponds to a quantitative approach of the descriptive type. The sample consisted of 104 workers from a consulting company in Lima, who answered both the Scale of Happiness and a socio-labor survey prepared by the authors of the present investigation. Regarding the results, it was found that 59% of the participants reported high and very high levels of their overall happiness level. The same tendency was evident in the dimensions positive sense of life, satisfaction with life, personal fulfillment and joy of living. These results were analyzed and supported based on previous research and presented recommendations for future research and practical recommendations based on the results found.
