This study corresponds to a consulting project for Caja Municipal de Ahorro y Crédito de Sullana S.A. (CMAC Sullana). The purpose of this study has been to analyze the business model to find the main problem and propose solution proposals in the short and medium term, with a sustainable impact over time. To carry out the analysis of the CMAC Sullana business model, the CANVAS methodology has been used as the main tool and the Five Forces of Porter as support tools, to find the main problems to be solved according to the purpose of this study. The main problem encountered was the lack of innovation in both processes and services, due to traditional methodologies for attracting clients, CMAC Sullana’s manual evaluation process, and the lack of implementation of new technologies. In the short term, CMAC Sullana must implement a pilot test of credits qualitative evaluation with high-risk rating in Los Olivos Agency, in this way the digital transformation just started at CMAC Sullana continues as a result of the current pandemic caused by COVID-19. In the medium term, it is proposed to implement the automated qualitative evaluation in all CMAC Sullana agencies, the automated quantitative evaluation, to use them with an innovative online credit allocation product and innovative customer acquisition alliances and in this way generate a complete innovation solution for CMAC Sullana processes and services. Finally, the conclusions and recommendations obtained from the study carried out are presented.
