This study explores the workers’ perception about organizational culture of a company in the financial and insurance sector, as well as the influence of the age variable in it. The importance of this approach is the constitutive and essential character of this construct as well as its impact on the results such as the levels of absenteeism and turnover, profitability, sales’ growth and, productivity (Bagher, Golmohammadi, Nekooeezadeh & Mansouri, 2017; Burke, Koyuncu & Fiksenbaum, 2011; Denison, Haaland & Goelzer, 2003; Kutty, 2016). The Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI), which proposed by Cameron and Quinn (2006), had been used to measure this construct, that involved 172 samples of worker from an insurance company in Lima Metropolitan Area. The results show that the Clan and Market Cultures are the predominants cultural types in the organization. In addition, these results show a direct and significant correlation between age and Clan Culture (rs = .218, p = .004) and, an inverse and significant correlation between age and Market Culture (rs = -.180, p =. 018). Those correlations are consistent with the results that has found in different investigations.
