Research of descriptive transactional and descriptive, simple design, whose main objective was to identify characteristics in the production of speech in 100 children aged between 5 years 6 months to 6 years 6 months, belonging to the educational institution of Fe y Alegría No. 2 Condevilla - SMP UGEL 02. The instrument used was the Protocol of evaluation Myofunctional de la DRA. Irene Queiroz Marchesan (MBGR, 2011). The following results were obtained: 53% of evaluated children present alterations in the production of speech, presenting most often musculoskeletal alterations. The types of alterations of higher incidence were distortions, being the phones altered over the vibrant simple and multiple. Another type of frequent alterations were omissions, being also the simple and multiple vibrant phones of greater difficulty to occur in the speech of children. Among the alterations associated with speech production are the usual position of the low tongue, locked joint, the accumulation of saliva in the mouth and a speaking with weaker loudness and speed which were the most common characteristics that were observed in children with speech disorders.
