The present work is justified at the theoretical level, since it provides relevant knowledge about the characteristics of a fluency profile of 9-year-old boys and girls living in Lima; It is also justified on a practical level, which allows the specialist to have a reference parameter for timely diagnosis and intervention. The aim of this research is to establish the profile of speech fluency in 9- year-old children by identifying the typology of common and stuttering disfluencies, speech rate and frequency of ruptures. To determine the profile of speech fluency, the spontaneous speech of 40 participants was analyzed using the protocol of Dr. Claudia Furquim de Andrade (2000). The research design used was descriptive-simple. The results show that the most frequent common disfluencies were hesitations and the less frequent repetitions of sentences; in relation to the stuttering disfluencies, the repetitions of syllables presented a greater percentage and the intrusions a smaller percentage. No blocks were recorded. Regarding speech rate, the mean value in the syllable flow per minute was 158.2 and in relation to the flow of words per minute, the average value was 91.1. Regarding the frequency of ruptures, the mean value of the percentage of speech discontinuity was 5.6% and the mean value of the stuttering dysfluency percentage was 0.5%.
