Agroforestry systems have been studied by different professionals; Geographers, as they have a macro focus on the territory, incorporate the agrarian landscape or productive landscape approach in order to conserve and develop sustainable economic activities in the Amazonian ecosystems. In the present study, it uses qualitative methods such as participatory agroecological analysis with the purpose of knowing the social and ecological reality of the study area; applies interviews, surveys and workshops with the population. As well as using quantitative and spatial methods such as agroecological modeling using geographic information systems (GIS) with the purpose of determining priority areas to install agroforestry systems with coffee. The results indicate that family gardens (agroforestry systems) generate social and ecological benefits for the population; however, local farmers expect to expand to organic markets, since in the district of Santa Ana, there is potential for sustainable development. Native trees from the district of Santa Ana are proposed as Pino chuncho (Schizolobium amazonicum) and Pacay mono (Inga feuilleei).
