Abstract

El presente trabajo de investigación es de tipo descriptivo correlacional de corte trasversal, el objetivo general esconocer la actitud materna relacionada al crecimiento y desarrollo en niños de 6 a 12 meses de edad. Centro de Salud YugoslaviaNuevo Chimbote, 2014. La población estuvo constituida por madres y sus niños de 6 a 12 meses de edad que asistieron al control de Crecimiento y Desarrollo. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó como técnica la encuesta y los instrumentos: Test de Actitud materna relacionada al crecimiento y desarrollo, El estado nutricional por desviaciones estándar y el Test Peruano de Desarrollo del Niño. El procesamiento de datos se realizó en el Software SPSS VERSION 20, aplicando la prueba estadística de independencia de criterios (Chi Cuadrado) llegándose a las siguientes conclusiones: - El 67.6% de las madres del Centro de Salud Yugoslavia presentaron una actitud negativa y el 32.4% actitud positiva. - El 58,8% de niños tienen un crecimiento adecuado y un 41.2% un crecimiento inadecuado. - El 53,9 % de niños presentaron trastorno del desarrollo y 46,1 presentaron un desarrollo normal. - Si, existe relación estadística significativa, entre la actitud materna, el crecimiento y el desarrollo en el niño de 6 a 12 meses de edad.

This research is correlational descriptiva of transversa section, the overall objective is to know the mother's attitude relatad to growth and development in children 6-12 months of age. Population Health Centre Yugoslavia Nuevo Chimbote, 2014 consisted of mothers and children 6-12 months of age who attended the control of Growth and Development. Data processing was performed in SPSS Software VERSION 20, applying the statistical test criteria of independence (Chi Square) arriving at the following conclusions: - The 67.6 % of mothers Yugoslavia Health Center have a negativa attitude and 32.4 % positiva. -58.8% of children have adequate growth and 41.2% inadequate growth. - 53.9 % of children had developmental disorder and 46.1 had a normal development. -· lf there is significant statistical relationship between maternal attitude, growth and development in children of6-12 months old.
