The present research work has been carried out with the purpose to propose a project of "Regulations for the control and surveillance of aquatic traffic of unmanned marine vehicles in Perú", which is currently not regulated at the national and international ambit; however, this has been caused by the current technological evolution that has allowed the development and rapid incorporation of these vehicles in different countries that have been testing their use and use in the military and scientific context, therefore, these vehicles will increase notoriously, which have currently generated some diplomatic conflicts between countries of the Pacific Asia, it also reduces costs and minimizes risks to navigation, leading to an economic and maritime safety benefit. In consideration, the International Maritime Organization has recommended to the developing countries of these devices, to regulate locally unmanned marine vehicles. Therefore, it was determined that it is necessary to regulate unmanned marine vehicles less than 100 of gross tonnage in Perú, for which the definition of ship of the Regulation of Legislative Decree 1147 must be modified, in which it is incorporated like unmanned marine vehicles, in addition to the modification of the articles which exists in the regulation, chapters, subchapters and articles must be included to allow the National Maritime Authority of Peru to control and monitor water traffic.
