The Institutional Image of the Peruvian Navy (MGP-Public Image) is the reflection of the customs, positions and appreciations that both the internal and external public have about the Peruvian Navy (MGP), based on its vision, mission, principles, values, organizational culture and standards of conduct of its members. The purpose of this study was to recognize the image of the institution according to the inhabitants of the Native Communities located on the land of the Iquitos Naval Base (BASNAI). The technique used was a quantitative approach, descriptive model, non-experimental design, the findings indicated the MGP-Image Public according to the inhabitants of the communities located on BASNAI lands. In the El Milagro community, 21% considered it a negative image, while 42% considered it a regular level and only 37% considered it a positive result. Likewise, in the Independence community, 63% perceived a negative result, while 34% perceived a regular result and only 3% a positive result. In the community of Santa Clotilde, 75% of inhabitants perceived a negative image, 19% perceived it as regular, and only 6% considered it positive. Finally, in the community of Santo Tomas, 22% considered it a negative image, while 42% considered it average and 36% considered it a positive image. The conclusions regarding the general objective on the Image Public-MGP from the perspective of the inhabitants of the communities located on BASNAI lands, reflect that the community of Santa Clotilde obtains a higher negative percentage, being 75%, followed by Independence who achieved the 63% negative result. This refutes the existence of gaps in the aforementioned communities that should be analyzed in future research.
