Intereses geopolíticos del Perú en el océano Atlántico del suroeste.

Abstract

La investigación titulada "Intereses Geopolíticos del Perú en el océano Atlántico del suroeste" analiza la posición estratégica del país en una región marítima clave. La delimitación geográfica de este trabajo de investigación abarca desde el Trópico de Capricornio por el norte hasta el paralelo 60°S, y desde el Pasaje Drake hasta el meridiano 12° oeste. El objetivo es identificar los intereses geopolíticos del Perú en diversos ámbitos como el político, económico y de seguridad. La metodología cualitativa empleó entrevistas y el análisis documental como técnicas de recolección de datos. Se validó un cuestionario semi estructurado para las entrevistas, mientras que el análisis de documentos se centró en fuentes abiertas. Los resultados obtenidos, revelan los intereses geopolíticos del Perú en el Atlántico del suroeste. En el ámbito político, se destaca la búsqueda de relaciones estratégicas y cooperación internacional. En el ámbito económico, se enfatiza la importancia de la relación con Brasil, la explotación de recursos y la exploración de nuevos mercados, y en cuanto a la seguridad, se resalta la protección de recursos naturales y la colaboración regional para hacer frente a amenazas comunes. La tesis culmina con una propuesta de hipótesis, en donde se resalta que los intereses geopolíticos del Perú identificados, en los ámbitos político, económico y de seguridad, se encuentran debidamente sustentados y constituyen un valioso aporte para futuras investigaciones sobre el tema.

The research titled "Geopolitical Interests of Peru in the Southwest Atlantic Ocean" examines the strategic position of the country in a key maritime region. The geographical scope of this research is bounded on the north from the Tropic of Capricorn to parallel 60°S, and from the Drake Passage to the 12° meridian west. The objective is to identify Peru's geopolitical interests in various areas such as politics, economics, and security. The qualitative methodology employed interviews and documentary analysis as data collection techniques. A semi-structured questionnaire was validated for interviews, while document analysis focused on open sources. The results reveal Peru's geopolitical interests in the Southwest Atlantic. In the political sphere, there is an emphasis on seeking strategic relationships and international cooperation. In the economic realm, the importance of the relationship with Brazil, the exploitation of resources, and the exploration of new markets are highlighted. Regarding security, the protection of natural resources and regional collaboration to address common threats are emphasized. The thesis concludes by presenting a hypothesis proposal, emphasizing that the identified geopolitical interests of Peru in the realms of politics, economics, and security are thoroughly substantiated. These findings not only validate the study but also offer a substantial foundation for further research on the subject in the future.
