The objective of this research is to estimate how subversion and illegal mining will influence internal security in the Ica Region by 2033. Subversion is characterized by its capacity to destabilize governance and alter social peace, representing a risk to security and well-being, and affecting human rights and economic and social development. Likewise, illegal mining, driven by criminal networks and corruption, affects the authority of the State and generates social and environmental conflicts. Under a vision of internal security that encompasses the analysis categories of guarantee of the constitutional rule of law, social peace, protection of the human person, and general well-being, this research was developed under a qualitative-phenomenological methodology of each of These categories focused on the Ica Region by 2033. Therefore, the analysis of this projection research was based on each of the categories mentioned in the previous paragraph, conducting interviews with specialists regarding their perspective to 2033, in the analysis of prospective documents and documents of interest that allow project and estimate to the researcher the influence of these social phenomena to 2033 and in the use of the MICMAC software, which allowed the identification of the influence and dependence of strategic variables to 2033, thus achieving the objectives of this research. The investigation concludes by showing that both subversion and illegal mining present significant challenges for internal security in the Ica Region, requiring a comprehensive and coordinated response to mitigate their effects in said region by 2033.
