The present research aimed to identify the center of gravity at the operational level of British forces in the 1982 South Atlantic Conflict. As part of the methodology, it was based on a qualitative approach with a descriptive scope. Due to its purpose or object of study, the research was of the applied type and oriented to verification and application. The research was based on the documentary analysis of an important variety of texts, with multiple definitions of a concept as current and important as the center of gravity, in a context of operational analysis of armed conflicts. As a result of this research, it was possible to arrive at the determination of the British center of gravity, also obtaining the conclusion of the importance of defining the "point of view" of a center of gravity in the opponent. Likewise, it was demonstrated that the definition of a central concept such as the center of gravity, is the most varied and numerous, so it was identified and argued which of the analyzed has more similarities with the others, in order to constitute the definition that is closest to the one that best describes said concept.
