It does an analysis of the current capabilities of the submarine rescue of the Peruvian Navy and contrasts it with the worst scenario that can occur, which is to have a submarine at the bottom of the sea, with its crew safe, without propulsion and without the possibility of controlling their ballast tanks, at the limit of the depth of collapse. Once this gap is determined, a detailed description is made of the advantages and disadvantages of the four technologies available in the international market, evaluating the saturation diving, the atmospheric diving suits (ADS), the directly operated vehicles (DOV) and the vehicles operated remotely (ROV). An evaluation of the professionalization of the Salvage Group is also carried out. It concludes that it is necessary to incorporate a new technology that allows to increase the depth of submarine salvage operations safely, and that is accompanied by adequate training in the operation and maintenance of these equipment and systems.
