In the present research work was determined how the prohibition of the ambulatory commerce through legal mechanisms affects the quality of life of the street vendor; the main objective of this research work was to determinate the way in wich the legal prohibition of the ambulatory commerce incise the quality of life of the street vendors in Plaza Santiago and surroundings in 2022. For this research work we used the applied type and the inductive method with a qualitative approach by which the hypothesis will be proven, using as instrument the data collection. In the same way, it is mentioned, that the present investigation has two study categories, the prohibition of the ambulatory commerce and the quality of life; the study population was constituted of street vendors in Plaza Santiago and surroundings in Santiago District, from the total population we took one hundred of street vendors as sample. The instruments used were surveys conduced to Street vendors and interviews with experts, the results of which were procesed through bar diagrams and porcentaje graphs for surveys, and the documentary análisis jointly with the objectives for the interviews to analyze the incidence of the prohibition of the ambulatory commerce and the quality of life of street vendors.
