This research intendes to describe the personality of the collage students at a women's university in Lima. The sample was intentional and self-selected; it was composed of 323 students from 1st to 8th semester of the period 2014-I. All women evaluated were aged between 16 and 42 years old. The instrument used was the Questionnaire 16 PF Fifth Edition; 185 features 16 items that assess first-order and five overall dimensions of personality. The results report that more than 65% of all students are within the average of affability factors, stability, dominance, animation, attention to rules, daring, sensitivity, abstraction, privacy, apprehension, openness to change, self-reliance, perfectionism and tension. The results indicated that there is a common profile of personality in psychology students. However, the reasoning factor in the students of the first, third and fifth semester showed that they have a concrete way of thinking and students of the second, fourth, sixth, seventh and eighth, have a reasoning used for problem solving. The global dimensions of: extroversion, anxiety, hardness, independence and self, about 70% of the total of the pupils are within the average. The results allowed to identify and describe the characteristics of the students’ personalities, acknowledge those who need to develop or modify for proper performance of their professional duties and determine the existence of a common profile personality in the student’s psychology program from first to eighth semester of studies.
