In this work, a review of the bibliography about the background, concepts, characteristics, and everything that concerns creative thinking and reading strategy. On the other hand, the relationship that exists between creative thinking and the reading strategy can make an advantage in the way how second graders use adequately the reading strategy in order to generate more fluid, flexible and original thinking in them, to acquire a better understanding of reading and enhance creative thinking. To conclude, it is important to say that if we want to enhance the creative thinking in students, the teachers must constantly ask questions, such as Socratics questions, to generate a better analysis of ideas, as well as provide information about how to storage strategies, so, all this will stimulate students to elaborate their own conclusions to present them creatively, then, after observing how student has been working in the different aspects, teachers will evaluate the performance they has been developing through different activities. Also, it seeks to promote the practice of creative thinking, that can be used not just for academic use, but in what it respects interpersonal and intrapersonal training, regarding the search for solutions.
