Atención y concentración, y competencias matemáticas en estudiantes de dos instituciones educativas de gestiones diferentes

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal establecer si existe relación entre las capacidades de atención y concentración, y las competencias matemáticas en estudiantes de 3er. grado de primaria de dos colegios de gestiones diferentes. Es una investigación de tipo descriptiva correlacional y comparativa, realizada en una institución de gestión particular y otra de gestión cooperativa, ambas pertenecientes al distrito de Jesús María. La muestra estuvo constituida por 88 alumnos de 3er grado de primaria, 29 de un colegio particular y 59 un colegio cooperativo, ambos del distrito de Jesús María. Se encontró relación entre la atención y concentración con las competencias matemáticas, en la cual se concluyó que a mayor capacidad de atención y concentración aumenta el puntaje de las competencias matemáticas. Además, que existen diferencias significativas entre la atención y concentración, y las competencias matemáticas en estudiantes de tercero de primaria de dos colegios de gestiones diferentes, estos estudiantes de colegio particular mixto presentan puntajes mayores en comparación a los de colegio cooperativo.
