The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between mothers' coping styles and learning achievements of their children with autism in CEBE's of Lima. The sample consisted of 36 mothers whose children study in these institutions. The following instruments were used: the "Stress Coping Questionnaire" (CAE) of Sandín and Chorot, which passed through a criterion of judges for its validation in Lima. Likewise; a sociodemographic sheet and the learning achievement of their children. It was found that there is no relationship of coping styles: Search for social support, open emotional expression, religion, positive reevaluation, focused on problem solving and negative self-targeting; with the achievement of learning in the areas of mathematics, social personnel, science and environment and communication. However, it is evident that there is a relationship between the style of coping: avoidance with the achievement of learning in the areas of science and environment and mathematics, for this reason, their children have greater difficulty in acquiring skills in these areas. Regarding the sociodemographic factor, it was evidenced that the level of higher technical education presents significance with the coping styles of open emotional expression, avoidance and negative self-targeting.
