The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional dependence, family satisfaction and resilience in students of a private university in southern Lima. The type of research that was used was non-experimental and correlational design. The sampling was not probabilistic. The sample consisted of 290 students of both sexes (102 men and 188 women), ages ranging from 17 to 46 years of age and from different civil states. The instruments applied were the Anicama, Caballero, Cirilo and Aguirre Emotional Dependence Scale (ACCA), the Olson Family Satisfaction Scale and finally, the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale. The results obtained indicated that there is a significant and inverse relationship between emotional dependence and family satisfaction, proving that the higher the emotional dependence, the lower the level of family satisfaction, in the same way, it was evidenced that there is a very significant and inverse relationship between emotional dependence and resilience, which indicated that the higher the level of emotional dependence the lower the level of resilience. In addition, a very significant and direct relationship was found between family satisfaction and resilience, which made it possible to affirm that the greater the presence of family satisfaction, the better the level of resilience in the participating students.
