Abstract: La presente investigación tuvo la finalidad de proponer y validar una escala de autoeficacia académica en un grupo de estudiantes universitarios. La muestra estuvo conformada por 340 estudiantes, el tipo de estudio fue psicométrico; en el presente estudio se elaboró la escala de autoeficacia académica (ESAA) de manera multidimensional. Los resultados indicaron que existe una validez de contenido (V de Aiken = .94), una confiablidad (Alfa de Cronbach de .877) y validez de constructo con dos factores: expectativa de la situación y expectativas personales, dentro de esta última se encuentran las expectativas de resultados y expectativa de la autoeficacia percibida. Se concluyó que la escala de ESAA cuenta con las características psicométricas para ser considerada válida y confiable.
The present research had the purpose of proposing and validating a scale of academic self-efficacy in a university student group. The sample consisted of 340 students, the type of study was psychometric, in the present study the scale of academic self-efficacy (ESAA) was elaborated in a multidimensional way. The results indicated that there is a content validity (Aiken V = .94), a reliability (Cronbach's alpha of .877) and construct validity with two factors: expectation of the situation and personal expectations, within the latter finds expectations of results and expectations of perceived self-efficacy. It was concluded that the ESAA scale, has the psychometric characteristics to be considered valid and reliable.
