The purpose of this research project is to determine how the application of taxonomies affects the nursing process in patients with chronic renal failure, whose methodology presents a research design based on a qualitative approach, likewise it is descriptive and scientific- cross-sectional, the study area is the medicine service of the Tacna Hospital Hipólito Unanue, where a 30-year-old patient with CRF was studied; Clinical documents, an interview, an observation guide were used as instruments to obtain information. In the results, the importance of applying the taxonomies based on NANDA, NOC, NIC was evidenced, which allowed a meticulous increase in the recognition of the diagnoses, improved the valuation of the expected results, in the same way a decrease in the time was identified. in the execution of activities; Thanks to the taxonomies, nurses can work based on a standardized language, an optimal care plan that prevents complications and affects self-care. In conclusion, the taxonomies applied to the nursing process favor nursing care, allow to visualize quality in care and generate development within the profession.
