The objective of this research is to compare emotional intelligence after the COVID-19 pandemic according to the sociodemographic characteristics of collaborators of a private company in metropolitan Lima. The design was quantitative, descriptive comparative. The survey was applied to 171 employees of a private company. For the corresponding purposes, the Trait- Meta Mood Scale (TMMS-24) created by Salovey and Mayer (1995) and adapted by Fernández- Berrocal, Extremera and Ramos (2004) was used. The results showed that there are significant differences in favor of the female sex in the dimension "Attention to emotions", otherwise for the dimensions "Clarity and Emotional Repair", where no differences were found between men and women. On the other hand, it is shown that there is no significant difference between the three dimensions of emotional intelligence, according to marital status, educational level and socioeconomic level.
