The purpose of this research was to analyze the perception of parent involvement towards the study performance and social skills of secondary school students. This is a quantitative, comparative and correlational research with a descriptive level. The sample population is composed of secondary-school students from four religious educational institutions: three of them private and one public, which are located in differentiated regions. Being a non-probabilistic sample which surveyed 261 students of 1° and 5° grade, it represented 61.41% of the population. Two questionnaires were performed as instruments: the ECISC scale measuring the perception of parent involvement towards the study performance of their children and the Goldstein Social Skill Test Scale. The results show that there is indeed a relation between the parental involvement towards the studies and social skills within the student population being part of the sample. Furthermore, there are not significant differences among the students of both grades.
