This thesis deals with the elaboration and application of a Marketing Plan with the objective of increasing Rural Tourism in the Cusco Region, Canchis Province, Pitumarca District, 2021-2022; this is a project that will contribute to the development of the tourism activity. The problem of this thesis unravels the following question: In what way the implementation of a marketing plan will increase the tourist activity in the district of Pitumarca and will help to generate greater income to its population; whose hypothesis tells us that if we implement a marketing plan it will increase the tourist activity and will generate greater income to the population in the district of Pitumarca; highlighting as variables of study: Independent Variable: Marketing Plan; and Dependent Variable: Rural Tourism. The objective is to be able to implement a Marketing Plan, since it plays a significant role for the development and increase of the tourist activity in the district of Pitumarca; for this purpose it was determined first to know what is the reality of the tourist activity, secondly, what is the situation of the tourist agencies that provide this type of services within the district, to finally design the most appropriate plan that contributes to the improvement of tourism.
