Abstract: Las competencias emocionales integran un conjunto de habilidades, capacidades y aptitudes
indispensables para actuar eficazmente ante diversas situaciones; estas conducen a conocer, expresar, regular las emociones de manera adecuada fortaleciendo las habilidades afectivas y sociales. Sin embargo, el escenario pandémico de la COVID-19 acentuó cambios significativos en el desarrollo emocional de la niñez, limitando el contacto y las interacciones sociales hasta finales del 2021, retornando progresivamente a clases presenciales a inicios del año siguiente. En este sentido, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la percepción docente sobre el desarrollo de las competencias emocionales en niños de tres años del nivel inicial en el retorno a la educación presencial post confinamiento. Esta investigación se orientó en base al enfoque cualitativo y de método fenomenológico, cuya muestra fue no probabilística, seleccionando a dos maestras del nivel inicial. Para la recolección de datos se utilizó la entrevista semiestructurada que consta de 11 preguntas y una sola categoría y, para el análisis posterior de los resultados se apoyó en la bibliografía revisada. Al concluir se obtuvo como resultado que la pandemia afectó las competencias emocionales de los preescolares, ya que al retornar a la educación presencial las educadoras observaron dificultades en las competencias de conciencia emocional, regulación emocional, autonomía emocional, competencia social y competencia para la vida y el bienestar, conllevando a la imperiosa necesidad de buscar estrategias afectivas, lúdicas, vivenciales y de contención emocional para fortalecer integralmente las competencias emocionales de los niños del nivel inicial.
Emotionals competitions make up a set of essential skills, capabilities and aptitudes to act appropriately in different situations that help to know, express and organize the emotions in a convenience way building effective and social abilities. However, the pandemic scene of COVID-19 made significant changes in the emotional development of the children limiting the contact comunication and social interactions until the end of 2021. The presential education returned to normal at the beginning of 2022.In other words, the purpose of which is to analize the teacher ́s perspective about the development of the emotional competitions in the initial level children upon the return of presential after isolation. This investigation was based on a qualitative approach and the phenomenological method,whose sample was non-probabilistic, selecting two teachers initial level. For data collection was obtained througth the semi-structured interview, that containing eleven questions and one category for the análisis based on the reviewed of the bibliography. At the conclusion, its was concluded that COVID-19 affected the emotionals competitions of students because as the teachers noticed they showed some difficulties in the presential classes for example emotional awareness, emotional regulation, emotional autonomy, social competition and emotional tranquility as the teachers noticed leading us to look for affective, fun, personal and emotional contaiment strategies to comprehensively strengthen the emotional competencies of children at the preschool level.
