Abstract: Resumen

Abstract Corn holds a deep and multifaceted value in the ancestral wisdom of Andean cultures, especially in Cusco and other regions of the Andes. It is not only a fundamental source of sustenance but is also intertwined with spiritual beliefs, agricultural practices, and community bonds of indigenous peoples. In Andean ancestral wisdom, corn is more than just food, it is an integral element that connects people to the land, their ancestors, and the cosmos. Its cultivation and consumption are filled with symbolism and practices that reflect a profound respect for nature, knowledge of the environment, and the importance of community. Therefore, knowledge about corn is part of an invaluable cultural heritage that remains alive and is key to the identity of Andean peoples. This paper is structured as follows: the first chapter addresses the legal framework for the development of this type of research, the second chapter explores the importance of ancestral wisdom in current education, the third part focuses on the practices and experiences surrounding corn cultivation, followed by a review of oral language development in children of early education. Finally, the paper presents our concluding reflections on what was learned throughout the development of this work. Keywords: ancestral knowledge, early education, intercultural, oral expression, corn cultivation.
