Following the onset of the pandemic in 2020, interest in consumption and healthier eating has become a global necessity, creating a significant opportunity for companies in the organic sector. Organic foods play a crucial role in promoting a healthy lifestyle, and amidst the growing concern for health and well-being, their demand has experienced a notable increase. In this context, the present research focused on understanding the factors influencing the intention to purchase organic foods, focusing on health awareness and environmental knowledge among millennials residing in Lima Moderna during the year 2022. The methodology adopted was quantitative in nature, using non-probabilistic sampling. The process began by clearly defining the research problem, followed by an exhaustive review of relevant sources to contextualize the issue. Data collection was carried out through 380 surveys, designed to analyze the relationship between the variables defined in the theoretical framework: attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior, health consciousness, environmental knowledge, and purchase intention. The initial chapters address the theoretical review of the dimensions of these variables, as well as an analysis of the main findings from the consulted literature. Subsequent chapters outline the hypotheses, objectives, and issues addressed in the research, also detailing the methodology employed, the sampling process, and the methodological instruments used in data collection. The study's results, along with the statistical analyses performed, such as the Spearman correlation coefficient and the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, are presented and compared with the theory supported by the reference articles. Finally, conclusions and recommendations derived from the research findings are provided, thus contributing to the knowledge and understanding of organic food purchasing behavior in the studied context.
