Currently the reality of Piura implies a great demand for multifamily housing due to the great population growth, this has had as an effect a growth in its great horizontal majority of constructions for housing use, resulting in an increase in the expenses of endowment of basic services; that is why in recent years the construction of high-rise buildings has emerged as an alternative as an optimal solution to meet such demand. The construction of high-rise buildings, requiring less space for their location, achieves a lower environmental impact and greater economic performance at the time of construction, and subsequently reduces the cost of providing basic services such as: water, drainage, electricity, telephony, transportation, etc. The problem sometimes also lies in not knowing what type of system to use if structural masonry or walls of reinforced concrete (cutting walls), for cost reasons. The purpose of this thesis is to put into practice the knowledge obtained during the undergraduate training, seeking with this project to reach the full domain of the formulation of a project from the base of an architectural plan to the design of the structural elements of this building both in structural masonry as well as in walls of court since this last system of construction is occurring with more continuity in our environment, thus giving the great step that means to go from theory to practice.
