The present research work called: "Treatment of stabilized base with emulsion asphalt cationic of the road Yauri deviation Livitaca (7 curve) region Cusco, 2018", has as general objective the determination of a design Optimum improvement with a stabilized base with asphalt emulsion cationic for a stretch of the road Yauri – Detour Livitaca (7 bend). Road that covers for this purpose of investigation the districts of Coporaque and Livitaca belonging to the provinces of Espinar and Chumbivilcas respectively, in the region Cusco. The accumulated length Between the 7 curves of the road Yauri deviation Livitaca is 1. 97 Km, 9.0 m wide carriageway and its rugged topography and its climate make it very particular, since in the Peru the most used communication routes within the Territory are terrestrial. The roads allow to optimize the travel times of the vehicles due to the design of its rolling layer. This is how a good design of these roads is necessary to ensure their proper performance and durability. For the same studies were carried out topography, traffic study, rainfall study and the study of soil mechanics. This research work is experimental, descriptive, population and sample are the entire stretch of the road Yauri bypass Livitaca. Data collection and data processing were carried out in the field and in the soil mechanics laboratories. As a result, data was obtained. In Such Sense this thesis contemplates the design of the pavement of 1.970 m of accumulated distance in Road, using different methodologies in order to determine the most economical option.
