This thesis "INFLUENCE OF THE STEEL FIBERS IN THE PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF THE CONCRETE, TRUJILLO, 2018" has as purpose to provide the information of the results obtained from an experimental study, the influence of the steel fibers, as alternatives of improve the physical and mechanical properties of concrete. The steel fibers CHO65 / 35 NB will be used, this product is marketed by a recognized company in additives called SIKA. In this research project will analyze the physical and mechanical properties of the concrete in both fresh and hardened state, presenting three different mix designs, prior to this it has to design three designs of simple concrete according to the E.060 Standard in order to select a pattern design that will serve to add the percentages of steel fiber. Having the standard design will proceed to add the 1.5% and 3% of steel fibers to the standard design, where its physical and mechanical properties in fresh and hardened state will be evaluated. And finally, having the best results in terms of its resistance to compression is the design with 1.5% fiber and in terms of its resistance to flexure, the design with 3% fiber is that it has more resistance.
