The research describes Firstly, the problematic reality of the route Yauri – diverted Livitaca, which corresponds to a section of the road: EMP. PE – 3s (deflected. Abancay) – Chuquibambilla-diverted. Challhuahuacho – Santo Tomás-Velille – Yauri – Héctor Tejada-EMP. PE – 3s (Ayaviri), then, in a specific way, describes the section of this route between the KM 152 + 000 to km 164 + 000, because it is the section where the research has been developed, describes the characteristics of the route before the conservation work And a description after the execution of the work of stabilization with asphalt emulsion of the base of the affirmed. And as part of the analysis of the material used as a base (stated as a quarry), tests were carried out in the laboratory of soil mechanics. And as part of the structure of the thesis, is presented in a summary a detailed description of each of the tests carried out applying the emulsion as a stabilizer; Likewise in this, it is presented in general, definitions, classifications, manufacturing processes, and theoretical methods that allow us to obtain initial values with which optimal values of participation of the asphalt emulsion were determined as Emulsifier in the mix with the quarry aggregate.
