The present thesis research project was carried out in the village of Quiñigon, district of Mache, province of Otuzco, department of La Libertad 2018, with the main participation of the JASS board and its technical group that accompanied me to carry out the different compilations of data insi-tu for the development of designs in general; with the main purpose of establishing an adequate service of drinking water supply in this locality and thus be able to provide a better quality of life for the Quiñigon farmhouse; In order to obtain the objective planned in this research, the basic engineering studies were carried out, starting with the topographic study, later the soil mechanics study, also the studies of water quality sources, the environmental impact study to minimize the negative impacts during and after its execution, and finally work in the cabinet, generating the designs of the components of the potable water supply system; the present investigation was developed following parameters established in the standard "Guide of Technological Options for Water Supply Systems for Human Consumption and Sanitation in the Rural Environment" of the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation, approved in 2016, also E. 030 (Sismoresistente Design), E.050 (Soils and Foundations) and E.060 (Reinforced Concrete); the present investigation was carried out with a non-experimental design, a crossdescriptive design type, the population is the drinking water design system for the Quiñigon farm, the sample is the drinking water design system and the study unit is the design of the components of the drinking water system, the technique used was the observation and the instrument and for the data collection is the observation guide, the method that was used is the descriptive statistics because it allows to record the data through tables and represent it in graphics and tables; for the system it is necessary to study the source of water quality, ensuring drinking for human consumption, afterwards the entire system is designed considering the current population of 235 inhabitants and a design population of 295 inhabitants, requiring a design flow daily 0.36 lt / sec. And a flow of hourly design of 0.55 lt / sec. So the source guarantees to cover the demand with a total of 0.50 lt / sec.
