From the point of view of production of the Cocona, knowing an ecotype with the bigger fruit’s yield for plant will be very useful because it will allow establishing an ideal ecotype to initiate a commercial project. It presented the following objective: Determining which one or which ones of the 4 ecotypes of Solanum sessiliflorum Dunal present the bigger fruit’s yield, at locality of Zungarococha. It’s used the Randomized complete-block design, with 4 treatments (04 ecotypes of cocona) and 4 repetitions. The variables that were studied were: the yield of fruit (Tm/Ha), yield of fruit (g/plants), weight of fruit (g/fruit), number of fruits plant, length of fruit (cm/fruit), diameter of fruit (cm/fruit), height of plant (m/plants), diameter of stem (cm/plants). It’s could observe that, for yield, the ecotypes of big fruit A and D they are them that the B and C generate bigger yield (16.32 and 13.11 tm/ha respectively) as compared with the ecotypes of small fruits (8.54 and 6.64 tm/ha respectively), and that besides they show highly significant differences, very to sorrow that these last they produce great quantity of fruits (27.71 and 28.04 fruits for C and B respectively) contrasting with ecotypes of big fruit (11.68 and 9.21 fruits stops to A and D respectively), having also highly significant differences. According to results, it’s concluded, than for the yield in unit for surface the ecotypes that were more efficacious to produce bigger weights in minor number of fruits then and within the same conditions agroecological were the ecotypes A and D.
