Burnout syndrome is considered a negative aspect of working professionals who have generated a constant and direct relationship with people, such as nursing staff. This research study was to determine the relationship between the predictors and burnout syndrome in nurses of critica! services in !quitos Ministry of Health in 201 1. The method was quantitative and non experimental, descriptive, correlational and cross. The sample consisted of 79 ( 1 00%) of the nurses (1) between 20 and 59, determined by convenience sampling with reference to the list of the nursing staff of the hospitals and strict compliance with the criteria for inclusion. The instruments used were the Questionnaire of Burnout Syndrome Predicting Factors. Questionnaire "Maslach Burnout lnventory'', with a validity of 80% and 90 % respectively, and the reliability of 0.72 and 0.80 Cronbach Alpha respectively. Also the data were analyzed through SPSS 18.0, Excel 2007 and Windows Vista. Regarding the number of children 56.3% have one to two, on research 1 training 41.3% had degree. While the service time was declared having 33.7% of 6 to 1 O years, the average earned income of 1380.00 ± 462 soles. In the case of burnout can be seen that 49 % have a medium. Therefore the changeable comprising the predictors with ·a significance less than 0.05, are marital status (B= 2.667 p=O.OO), number of children ( B= 2.838 p= ,013) and time in service (B= -3.182 p=,048),
