The study was developed in the 20 ha. of the local forest of the community of Puerto Alegria, Datem del Marañón province, Loreto Region " The general objective was: To recover degraded soils with forest species in the community of Puerto Alegría in the Morona River basin, Morona District, Datem del Marañón Province - Loreto Region. "And the specific objectives were: Determine the construction area of forest nurseries, production of seedlings of forest species, planting of seedlings in the final field, determining the mortality and survival of seedlings. Train the population on conservation of natural resources. The project to recover soils degraded by oil activity was developed in 20 communities, 38 landowners from all the communities worked with this project benefited. 18 flying nurseries and 02 permanent nurseries were built. 9000 seedlings of various species were produced in flying nurseries. 3500 seedlings of various species were produced in permanent nurseries. with certified seeds of the species: Papelillo, Sangre de Grade, Mahogany, Tornillo, Copaiba, Cumula, Palo Rosa, Capirona and Bolaina, The survival of the seedlings installed in the final field after sowing was successful with a total average of 95% and a mortality rate of 5%. All the beneficiaries of the communities were trained on the benefits of the project and sensitized to the management of natural resources in order to ensure the revegetation of their areas with commercial forest species.
