The main objective of the present work of thesis was: determining the model that fits to the relation between the conversion of bioethanol, the pressure of operation and the length of a PFR (reactor of flow piston), when the ethylene production takes effect. The present investigation has quantitative focus with level of deepening predictive and I design correlational. The equation (41) has been obtained, which represents the model that fits up the relation between the conversion of bioethanol, the pressure of operation and the length of a reactor of flow piston (PFR), when the ethylene production from the dehydration of the bioethanol takes effect. In the sole discretion of the investigators, the type of sampling was the probabilistic no, being considered a size of similar sample to eight (8) simulations, by means of the ones that they have been able to observe to me the profile of conversion of bioethanol to the following pressures: 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20 y 23 atm. In each realized simulation, one could observe, that as much as the ledger book is the length of the reactor of flow the piston (PFR), ledger book is the conversion that is obtained of bioethanol. The results of eight (8) simulations, show that the pressure of optimal operation the reactor of flow should work piston to (PFR), is to 23 atm, because to this pressure it will take place in the aforementioned reactor to the maximum conversion (??A=0.99) of bioethanol, with the length smaller, which is approximately all the same to 18.97 feet.
