The research defined the objective: To determine the relationship of the self with the learning process in children 5 years of Initial School "Spring" No. 602, San Juan Bautista - 2014. The research, according to their scope, is part of a qualitative research. The population was made up of all children under 5 years of Initial School "Spring" No. 602, registered in the academic year 2014, making a total of 58 and the sample was represented by 1 living room, which had a total 28 children, who were selected in a non-probabilistic convenience. The collection technique that was used in our research was the observation of children 5 years of self-esteem (security and self-confidence, emotional behavior, social behavior) and learning process (Phase start, phase and phase out process). The results indicate: Self-esteem was high with 53%; the learning process was good with 71%; the relationship between self-esteem and learning process positively and gave both significant in children 5 years of Initial School "Spring" No. 602, San Juan Bautista - 2014.
