The thesis was carried out in the area of the Mayuriaga indigenous community, Mayuriaga ravine, located on the left bank of the Morona River Basin. At an altitude of approximately 182 masl. Politically belongs to the Department of Loreto, Province Daten del Marañón, District of Morona The objective of the study was to gain a better understanding of the State's role in reducing rejection and conflicts related to hydrocarbon activities in the Mayuriaga indigenous community. The totality of the respondents of the indigenous community are male and responsible for the household, being the age group of this population is mainly between 20 and 49 years, that is to say the economically active population. The occupational situation are all occupied and with high monthly incomes higher than 4,000, income well above the regional average, this would indicate that they are linked to the oil activity because these companies pay the best wages; But the level of education a large majority has primary and secondary education, is a population with regular basic education and with capacity to develop skills and abilities to perform in the oil activity, the national state is recognized, but refuse to recognize the authorities designated by the National state They show a strong identification with their ethnicity, value and recognize their customs as their own, and have a high appreciation of the role that their organizations play in defending their ancestral rights. Recognizing the benefits of oil activity, they are aware of the importance and role of public institutions in the community of Mayuriaga. They have a favorable majority opinion and feel satisfied with the educational service, which creates conditions to improve the educational service, with the investment in radio, telephone and internet, with the campaigns of identity and civil registry carried out by RENIEC, participate and recognize That there is transparency and recognize the results of the electoral processes, with the productive programs in agriculture and the social programs of the State in the community of Mayuriaga.
