The objective of this research is determine if there is a statistically significant relationship between the associated factors (Sex, Age, Degree of Instruction, Type of treatment) and anxiety in patients from 10 to 25 years of age who visit the dental office of the health center San Juan de Miraflores, Iquitos 2019. A descriptive, nonexperimental, correlational and cross-sectional investigation was developed. The study sample consisted of 102 patients (adolescents and young adults) who were in the waiting room on the day of their dental appointment, for the collection of data a survey on the level of anxiety in dental care was used. of the Corah Modified Dental Anxiety Scale (MDAS). It was used the univariate and bivariate statistics, as well as the non-parametric inferential statistics CHI SQUARE in order to verify the existence of a significant relationship between the associated factors and levels of anxiety. The results obtained were: in the degree of anxiety, they predominated, MODERATE (34.3%), LEVE (30.4%) and SEVERE (28.4%) in the total number of patients attended. According to the Chi square test, there is no statistically significant relationship of dependence between AGE, SEX and DEGREE OF INSTRUCTION with the DEGREE OF ANXIETY with 95% confidence in the patients studied. The conclusion of this reserch is that, if there is a statistically significant relationship of dependence between the TYPE OF TREATMENT (dental extraction) and the DEGREE OF ANXIETY (severe or phobia)
