The present work was carried out in the Valencia Lake belonging to the department of Madre de Dios, the study is based on the need to investigate the growth of paco fry in floating cages at different densities; Treatment1= 10 fish/m3, Treatment2= 15 fish/m3 and Treatment3= 20 fish/m3 (T1, T2 and T3), having 4 repetitions per treatment. The work methodology was to carry out periodic samplings of 28 days with a total of 140 days, to obtain significant data of growth, zootechnical indexes and physical-chemical parameters. The structures used as experimental units were cages manufactured with PVC pipe frame, frying mesh and one-inch opening wire mesh. The feeding program was developed in a cantilevered form using commercial feed of the Aquatech brand, with feeding rates of 5%, 4%, 3% and 2% according to the growth stage. The results obtained show significant difference between treatments for growth in weight and length, showing that at the density of 10 fish/m3 the growth of paco improves (T1= 408.223g.>T2= 383.475G.>T3= 380.265g.). The zootechnical indexes maintained the trend that reflects the relationship that, at lower density, improves the performance in GP (T1=398.238g. T2=373.5g. T3= 370.263g.); GL (T1=21.91cm. T2=20. 073cm. T3=19.89cm.); TCE (T1=284.455, T2=266.786, T3=264.473); TCR (T1=97.554, T2=97.399, T3=97.37); ICAA breaks the tendency being an inverse relation (T3=1.268, T2=1.313, T1=1.279). The physical-chemical parameters recorded are at values that are normal for the, (pH 6.7, NO2 >0.5, NO3 >0.01, TDS 53.02, T °C 27.7, OD 5.86) cultivation of the species.
